EDEN ATHLETICS PRESENTS THE 10th ANNUAL GEORGE SCHAEFER MEMORIAL ROAD RACE at SCHOODIC POINT AUGUST 13th, 2011 in conjunction with the WINTER HARBOR LOBSTER FESTIVAL. 5K (3.1mile) Run or Walk & Kid’s 1 mile Fun Run
WHEN: Saturday, AUGUST 13th Registration: 7- 8:00 a.m. or by mail before Aug. 9th.
TIME: 8:00 a.m. KID’S RUN 8:30 a.m.5K WALK/ RUN
WHERE: Take Rt. 186 to Birch Harbor and follow East Schoodic Drive 1 mile to Wonsqueak Hbr.
COURSE: All races begin and end at Wonsqueak Hbr, out & back along spectacular Schoodic Point.
Wheel measured, fairly flat, along shore, 2 water stations, RRCA guidelines
COST: $12 for 5k $8 for Kid’s Mile (12 & under) Free T-shirt for all who pre-register.
T-Shirts will be sold on race day.
FACILITES: 2 portable restrooms & water available
AWARDS: 1 ST three places all age groups, male and female, plus raffle drawings.

assisting with the George Schaefer Mem. Road Race from any liability for any injury occurring as a
