I will be meeting with dozens of people along the way to learn about the natural his tory of the island and the ways in which various groups of people use or h ave used the shoreline\; I’ve already met with a marine biologist\, a Wab anaki cultural historian\, and the curator of a local historical society\; future scheduled Walkers include a geologist\, seabird experts\, a scuba diver\, an estate caretaker\, a family genealogist\, a junior-high school science teacher\, and a tour boat captain. I have also spoken with local N ational Park representatives about including current and retired Park pers onnel in the project.
